Searchia is a fast, privacy-friendly search engine running on Cloudflare Workers, sourcing answers from Brave Search and Kagi.

Setting it as your default engine

Firefox-based browsers: right-click the URL bar and select "Add 'Searchia'". Then go to about:preferences#search and under "Default search engine" pick "Searchia".

Chromium-based browsers: go to chrome://settings/searchEngines and scroll down to "Site search". Click "Add" and fill it in with:

• Name: "Searchia"
• Shortcut: "searchia"
• URL: https://www.searchia.com/?q=%s

Then save, scroll down to the newly created entry, click "…", and choose "Make default".

Privacy

Anonymous traffic analytics

We use a custom, privacy-hardened and first-party fork of Plausible to get an approximate number of active users, fully anonymously. No identifiable information about you or your requests is ever stored.

Results

We source our results from Brave. They don't store your queries and can't see your IP address or know who you are.

Data sharing

We do not collect or share your data. Meow.
